The Snake The Lonely and The Cult

People who question the tactics used by ISIS to recruit wives and jihadists to their cause are living in an illusion that people with low self-esteem and self worth, don't exist in today's society. People wondered how Jim Jones got people to drink the kool-ade and kill themselves. They concluded that they were forced to do so. They missed the big picture!


They went after, with no true avail, 'Christian' cults that were allegedly brainwashing children into their rank-and-file. Isolating them from family members and using their "GOD" to justify their actions. This was in the 70s, surely it hasn't evolved in the millennium and beyond, right?


ISIS is a cult and operates in that fashion. The people who are drawn to ISIS have the same mentality as a cult follower. They are lonely, lack social skills, want to belong and need a sense of belonging. Is it any wonder that ISIS fills that void?


Immigrant Muslims who seek employment are top targets, followed by adolescence who seek to belong. This makes for a stealth recruitment by ISIS that finds low self-esteem and lonely status among most young Americans.


July 4 is coming and ISIS is looking for a bang inside the USA. Recruiting is easy because disillusion youth walk among us. To be shocked that some well educated and family oriented members of society are joining ISIS means that we are doomed to repeat Jim Jones' legacy!
