Nothing Is Sacred

I think that everybody on earth knows that the cows in India are sacred and protected. Well their "Holy Status" is being undermined as there is a rise in cattle rustling in the land of the holy cow!

Cattle thefts are called 'lifting' in India. Seems like the affluent and the tourists in New Delhi are developing a taste for delicious meat. So ones man's religion becomes another man's business.

So this may present a dilemma to organizations such as Peta that want to turn the world into a vegan globe.

Keeping The Drunk Safe

When it comes to speed traps, motorists have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves. Law enforcement agencies also have tricks to counter the motorists' tricks. Although speeding is dangerous, it isn't anywhere near as dangerous as driving while impaired under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Now there are those that are reporting where DUI checkpoints are being set up. I don't know if I would refer to the people who alert where DUI checkpoints are being set up as heroes. I mean, he is alerting the drunks to take an alternate route to escape a possible arrest.

You can be your own judge on this subject, but I feel that impaired drivers are an accident waiting to happen.

What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

I remember watching the old Police Academy movies, and one was about Citizen's On Patrol. Well who knew there really was a COP program. So in an experiment, the police thought it would be a great idea to give the civilians patrol cars.

Needless to say that hilarity ensues! Civilians actually proved who the real criminals are. I like the guy who drove with a girl on his lap. Imagine if that had been a real cop!

Total mayhem is how the townspeople of Valley Falls, Kansas, described the result of a not too brilliant idea. Tune in next time when the brilliant police force give these citizens their loaded guns!

Not My Child's Fault

An 8 year old child with an IQ of 130 is a model child at home. So it isn't her fault for being expelled from three schools for attacking teachers and students. Just ask the parents, who blame teachers for not being trained to handle their demon child!

The child may be autistic, and of course it is fair sending her to a regular school. Now they await a doctor to allow their daughter to go to a special school. Unfortunately it is not located in their immediate area, meaning they may have to travel longer before they can drop off their precious snowflake!

Apparently the girl doesn't like to be ignored when she is talking. I get the feeling that she never shuts up!

A Freightcar Named Street

Although modern technology has made our lives easier, there may be a problem when we use them at inappropriate times. Many still text and talk on their phones when they drive. The outcome is proving fatal as the texting while driving has surpassed the drinking and driving crowd in accidents and fatalities.

But now the fatalities are spreading and even people walking become distracted and at times listen to music with earbuds or headphones. It never ends well when they wander into the street. Now if this wasn't tragic enough, you have people running unexpectedly into trains. And thus begins the story...

You can feel the vibrations on the tracks when a train nears, and the whistle can be heard for miles. Darwin must have been out that day as Kevin Scott Street strolled on the tracks while he listened to music with his earbuds.

The music must have been blasting loudly beyond belief, because the whistle was not heard until the last minute. Street was struck by a freight train. Why would he even be walking on a track blasting his music so loud that a train whistle and the vibration didn't alert him?

Extinction is the end result of stupidity.
